Installation Steps for Current Version of EMM

After downloading the current version of EMM for your ASPDNSF store, you should extract the compressed file to a local directory.

  • Copy the contents of the StoreRoot folder into the root directory of your website. In addition to a number of files in to the store's root directory, this also includes copying the contents of the following into various subdirectories on your store:
    • Copy the contents of the Admin folder into your admin directory of your storefront (including the Images folder)
    • Copy the contents of the bin folder into the bin directory of your storefront
  • Once you have done so, log into the administration section of your storefront using a superuser administrative account in the browser of your choice. Once you have done so, please enter the following URL into your browser's location bar:
    https://www.domain.com/admin/xaEmm.aspx
    where www.domain.com is the fully qualified domain name of your storefront and admin is the directory of your administration function of your storefront.
  • Running the above page will check to ensure you've installed the files correctly, create the databases necessary for operations of the EMM application and pre-populate the tables with initial data as available. It will also insert certain values into your ASPDNSF AppConfig and current StringResource tables.
  • Afte the page has run compeltely, you will be prompted to reset the cache in the ASPDNSF admin section as well as instructions on how to modify the admin section's menu XML file so that you can add a link to EMM on your main menu...
