This blogging platform isn't used as much as say, WordPress firstly because it requires a Windows-based hosting account in order to work.
Another reason I've found recently is because a number of so-called SEO experts and services from other parts of the world have decided to target BE.Net blog comments for spammy links back to their websites.

I've stemmed the flow of these comments (which were upwards of 100 a day) by turning on Captcha but some of the more dedicated still try and post inanne comments that have nothing to do with the post in question all in the vain hopes of gaining a link back to their client's website.
